This is a great little cabin. Back away from civilization but not too far. Beautiful wooded and mountainous vistas for a great getaway. LeAnn and Doug were welcoming ang gracious. We are defiantly coming back!

This mountain retreat is exactly as described. The home is outfitted with everything you need and more. Property was very scenic and peaceful. We played horseshoes, bags, stargazed and hiked. Doug and LeAnn taught us about the history of the area and were very accommodating. Highly recommend this location to anyone looking to recharge.

This was my second (and surely not last!) visit, and despite a prior stay, LeAnn and Doug continue to add touches that exceed any expectations. The property, this cabin, and their care and hospitality raise the Airbnb bar! If you are considering, reserve now. I will definitely return.

This cabin was immaculately clean, cozy, warm, and so thoughtfully stocked. We had a wonderful time stargazing, relaxing in the hammocks, and hiking. The cabin had things we would never have thought to bring- binoculars, walking sticks, popcorn, and even bear repellent 🤣 We would definitely stay again, and next time, for even longer.

The sun is our electricity, so on cloudy days, turn off unused lights and electronics.
A gas bar-b-que grill is provided for outdoor cooking.
There is no smoking in the casita. However, vaping is allowed.
Please leave your pets at home.
Dry seasonal conditions may prohibit smoking outside anywhere other than in a closed vehicle.
Due to dry seasonal conditions, there are no campfires or fireworks.
About the Casita
Make yourself at home in the full kitchen with the unique gathering table for six. Just bring your own food!
Sleep peacefully in the queen bed, two single beds or double bed futon.
Winter months evoke the use of the efficient wood pellet stove and/or propane heating for cozy warmth.
The casita is located at 8500' above sea level. Please stay hydrated to avoid altitude sickness.
There is Starlink Internet, smart TV, DVD, M3 player and video library, games, maps, books and magazines for your enjoyment!!
Enjoy outdoor cornhole, horseshoes, hammocks and seating.
